Amanda’s Wavy Edge Tray carries originality and charm into any space. “Marbleized papers have always brought about a sense of exoticism to me,” Amanda says of her new collection of marbleized accessories. “At one time, the Europeans called them ‘Turkish papers’ due presumably to a readily available source from Turkey in the 17th and 18th centuries. The marbleizing process soon spread around the world. For centuries, European bookbinders used these lovely swirling designs as end papers for their fine, leather-bound books.”
We created our marbleized paper accessories in cheerful swirls of bright Lindroth blue to lend each item in this unique collection a touch of old-world charm and a bit of exoticism too!
This decorative accent is crafted of handmade 100% recycled cotton paper artfully marbled by hand and finished with a pretty wave edge echoing the flowing color. The versatile size makes this large tray perfect for storing letter-size paper in the office, staging pretty scent bottles in the bath, or catching mail in the entryway.
